Deposit at a landing stage: From when can I pick up the tickets I have ordered?

Your tickets are available to you for collection immediately once you place your order; you will need to know the booking number to collect your tickets.

If you have entered an e-mail address during the booking procedure, then you will receive a confirmation e-mail showing your booking number, which will be sent to the indicated e-mail address provided that the booking procedure has been completed successfully. If you book your tickets by telephone and do not disclose any e-mail address, please write down the booking number to have it ready for ticket collection.

 

Where do I find the landing stage in Vienna?

Our Twin City Liners depart from the landing stage at Schwedenplatz
Franz-Josefs-Kai 2, Schiffstation Wien City, Schwedenplatz/Kai, 1010 Wien

Boarding always starts 30 minutes before departure and all passengers are required to have their valid passport or personal National ID card (EU citizens) with them. Please check with your consulate for potential visa requirements for citizens of non-EU countries.

 

Where do I find the landing stage in Bratislava?

The landing stage is located at the “Novy most” bridge. Address: Ponton HUMA6, Razusovo nabrezie, 81102 Bratislava

 

What do I need to collect my tickets?

To collect your tickets, you will need the booking number (invoice, confirmation e-mail) and an official ID card showing your photograph. (To be able to travel with the Twin City Liner, you need a valid travel document!)

 

I have not received any confirmation e-mail. Has my reservation order been registered?

Please contact our Customer Service at twincityliner@wien-ticket.at. We will check whether we have received your reservation. For this purpose, please tell us your name and contact details.

 

Can I change or cancel my tickets?

Changing a booking
Up to 48 hours before departure for a fee of € 10,– per person.


Cancellation
Up to 48 hours before departure 50% of the ticket price is payable and thereafter 100%. In the case of late payment/bank transfer we take measures to collect the debt through third parties and charge default interest at the statutory rate.

Cancellation cover
When booking your journey the cancellation conditions stated above come into force. Consider the possibility of sickness and the resulting need to cancel the journey. You might incur cancellation costs that could be covered by taking out an appropriate insurance policy. We strongly urge you to take out cancellation insurance!

 

Why can't I register on your website?

If you know your customer number, please try to register using this number instead of your e-mail address. If this does not work either, please contact our Customer Service at twincityliner@wien-ticket.at.

 

My trip has been cancelled. What do I need to do?

WIEN-TICKET will strive to return the ticket price to you by transfer as soon as possible.

 

I have lost my tickets, or they have been stolen. What should I do?

The tickets are like bank notes. When they get stolen or lost, generally we do not issue any substitute tickets (due to the potential for misuse).

However, if the seat can clearly be identified, please contact our Customer Service at twincityliner@wien-ticket.at. We will contact Twin City Liner concerning the next steps to be taken and try to find a fair solution. Please understand that the decision on a fair solution will be made by Twin City Liner and WIEN-TICKET cannot influence it at all.

 

A wrong amount has been deducted from my credit card. What happened?

Please contact our Customer Service at twincityliner@wien-ticket.at. State the invoice number and your contact details. WIEN-TICKET will check the charged amount without delay and promptly correct relevant errors, if any.

 

How can I book a place for a wheelchair?

Unfortunately, we cannot allow wheelchair places to be sold online. The boat can accommodate the requirements of people in wheelchairs, although this needs to be registered in advance. For this purpose, please contact booking@twincityliner.com.

 

Does my child need a ticket?

Children under the age of 2 years old travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents, provided that they occupy no seat. Since the capacity of the Twin City Liner is limited by regulations, you still need a ticket for your baby, which you can pre-order by phone on +43 1 904 88 80 or by e-mail at booking@twincityliner.com.

Children from 2-11 years are eligible to a 50% discount from the ticket price.

Children also need valid travel documents to be able to travel with the Twin City Liner!

 

May I take a pram/stroller with me?

You may take a pram or stroller with you at no extra charge.

 

May I take my dog with me?

You can take your dog for a surcharge of € 5,- per dog. The dog needs to be kept on a leash, wear a muzzle and have a valid EU inoculation pass (anti-rabies inoculation).

 

May I take my bicycle with me?

You can bring your bike on board for a surcharge of € 5,- per bike. We have our own e-bike charging station! Fatbikes, bicycles trailers and tandem bicycles are not allowed on board.
