Compliance

The term “compliance” is understood to mean adherence to all laws, regulations and directives, as well as contractual obligations and voluntarily agreed undertakings. Accordingly, not only breaches of the law, but also actions that contravene regulations issued by the company itself, such as the articles of association, partnership agreement, rules of procedure, internal guidelines and rules of conduct of the company or of the group, are to be regarded as compliance-related matters.

 

Whistleblower System

The EU Directive on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law ("EU Whistleblowing Directive") came into force in December 2021 and has been implemented through the Austrian Whistleblower Protection Act (HinweisgeberInnenschutzgesetz). In line with the EU Directive, the Act provides the establishment of a reporting channel for the confidential reporting of breaches of EU law.

Vienna Holding is committed to integrity, transparency, and compliance with all legal requirements as well as internal policies. To enable the confidential reporting of potential legal violations, compliance breaches, or other misconduct, an external reporting office is available in accordance with the Austrian Whistleblower Protection Act.
